I had this car on the road two days ago.

I have a 2000 audi A6, well not mine but in my driveway. I went out this morning to drive it and I cant get the doors open. The key pad is not working, I put the key in the door and it seems like it unlocks, the pin comes up, but the door will not open still, can not get the trunk open either

Is there a type of safety on these cars?
